Gold That Can't Be Measured in Grams
Gold That Can't Be Measured in Grams
In a remote mountain village lived a poor man named Uncle Ali. He had nothing but a small cottage, a few chickens, and a kind heart that everyone in the village knew.
One day, while digging in his land in search of water, his shovel struck something hard.
He unearthed a large, shiny piece of pure gold—heavy and gleaming.
His heart trembled with both joy and fear. He took the gold to the city, where experts confirmed: it was worth a fortune—enough to make him rich for life.
But Uncle Ali returned to his village without selling it.
His neighbor asked,
“Why didn’t you sell it and buy a house in the city?”
Uncle Ali smiled and replied,
“Real gold is waking up to people who ask how you are, feeding your children from your own chickens, and sleeping at night without locking your door.”
He buried the gold in a place no one would ever find, and went back to his simple life.
Years passed. When Uncle Ali died, no one ever found the gold.
But the villagers kept speaking of him and his golden heart—a kind of wealth that could never be measured in gram
