Hey Now! Reader Insights are on Vocal!
There I was, minding my own business, looking for reasons not to do the evening dishes. I, of course, clicked on my Facebook app and saw that I was tagged in one of the Writing groups I follow. Much to my surprise some of the writers I most respect had shared a story of mine, each, and tagged me. It's a game called 'Whose Line is it Anyway' and the Vocal Social Society plays it often.

Stop Deifying the People Defending Ukraine and Their Freedom
“They are so brave! So valiant! I could never fight like that!” Maybe that’s true; but if you couldn’t leave the country you would either hide, fight, or die. I Can Tell You My Secret Now
Note: This piece is about mental health awareness and the struggle many people face every single day. It is not meant as a diagnostic tool or to give any medical advice whatsoever. Every individual has their own story and their own treatment plan, so even if you see part of yourself in this piece, it's vital that you seek the help of a trained professional. It IS okay not to be okay.

Embracing Cheugy
I was almost reconciled to being Basic. Depending on where you look Basic is almost generic. Unexciting. Plain. Unoriginal. Could mean naïve. Unsophisticated. The thing is, it’s been around for years now, since 2013, so I’m kind of used to it. Basic is practically a classic.
