A Comic Playlist
This is the result of a prompt from my friend Bill O'Neil when I said I couldn't write anything related to comedy. I can’t actually write comedy and find reading some comic books difficult sometimes. Spike Milligan's “Puckoon” and Harvard Lampoon’s “Bored of the Rings” are books that burn out way too soon. Having said that I always find the writing of Douglas Adams very entertaining so I can take some comedic writing.

Just Another Scam
James Veitch Shows How It's Done How To Approach Being Scammed The other day I got hit by a new scam, well I didn’t get scammed because I cottoned on to what was happening. I go with the James Veitch and Joe Lycett philosophy that if you know what you are doing with these things. String the scammer along for as long as is practical for you because that way you are protecting people who may actually be vulnerable to these sorts of scams.

This Is Not Writer's Block
Entrance to My State of Mind At The Moment I am finding it very difficult to write at the moment, but the fact that my fingers are touching the keyboard to actually put together this piece means that I can still write and get something out there. I really want to write some fiction (I am not very good at that) and poetry (over two hundred poems that people like shows that I am probably able to write something that people enjoy.).

Issues With Vocal That May Never Be Resolved
Prologue To Problems With Vocal This is not hitting out at Vocal, and often there are other companies who will not acknowledge issues. Also because of the number of stories I have now published I hit problems that most people will never actually encounter, but they are still issues. I am hoping that Vocal look at this post and say “Hmmm that is a problem, we really need to do something about it” but here is the first hurdle to anything happening.

Pastoral
I’ve just been listening to “Ummagumma” by Pink Floyd and I particularly love the pastoral relaxing feel of “Grantchester Meadows” by Roger Waters and thought that would be something that I would like to write for a close special friend of mine. I could also choose Beethoven's "Pastoral" Symphony but it was the Roger Waters song that inspired this.

A Saucerful of Secrets by Pink Floyd
“A Saucerful of Secrets” - A Turning Point For Pink Floyd In many ways "A Saucerful of Secrets" could be considered Pink Floyd's most pivotally important album. It is not their most musically important, or their best album although in my opinion is it very good and contains some of my favourite Pink Floyd songs

Losing Vocal Friends and Finding Vocal Friendship
I don’t know what it was, but it came to mind how my Vocal friends seem to be in an almost constant state of flux. Many people I used to engage with seem to have disappeared from my circle, although new ones are constantly coming into it.

The River of Time
I think this came about because I am reading “The Fabulous Riverboat” the second book in Philip Jose Farmer’s “Riverworld” series, plus the songs “River of Dreams” by Billy Joel and “River of Salt” by Bryan Ferry with the addition of an inspirational spark that I always have resulted in this poem.

You Angel You
Some people in the USA and Canada can't see the video above, hopefully this will work for you. I was listening to some music and the song above came on, the phrase "You Angel You" is perfect for someone who has been with me every moment through my recent trials, and she is still looking out for me now.
