Do androids dream?
On Friday 21 February 2025, at around 20:45hrs UTC, I uploaded a question to Gemini 2.0 Flash. This is the free version that you can connect to using the Google search portal. It is distinct from Gemini Advanced, which you probably have to register to use and may have to pay for. If not now, at some point in the future.

AI, psychopathy and success. Top Story - July 2023.
In the popular imagination a psychopath is a cruel and manipulative murderer, one who is cool, unfeeling and calculating in his desire to inflict suffering and pain. Characters like Hannibal the Cannibal spring to mind, or the real life American serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer. Yet not all psychopaths are killers, nor indeed violent offenders of any kind. Which is just as well when it has been estimated that between 1% and 4.5% of the general population qualify as psychopathic (Bing AI search result).

Interview with an AI
Earlier today (July 6, 2023 @ 19:30 UTC+1), I put some questions to Bing's new AI application and have recorded the results here for anyone who cares to read them. All of the questions I asked and the answers provided by Bing AI have been copied here verbatim, including any typographical errors, one of which was deliberate. The only change made is that I moved the last question to the top. I have not included the numbers of each answer or some of the superficial text. The numbering (1 of 30, 2 of 30) suggested that there would be a termination point after answer 30. Did I get that far? Read on!
