Praying to God my goddess is somewhere in the ocean

Because one day I’m going to go for a swim

I want to travel the world but only if I’m covered by favor

Only the lord can see our hearts so my caution keeps me from many strangers 

In distance a friend and an enemy tends to look the same

I didn’t like her at first because she kept me sick

She reminded me that my parents always helped me get better

I spoke to God the other day about my constant sinning 

My soul bleeding but I kept telling it to put on another band-aid 

Haitian blood flows through my body like water through pipes

My hair long and locked like lion’s mane 

I try to capture these moments but no camera has the eloquence 

If were to pray my last prayer I would ask God for one thing

While you lay my body on the ground lift my soul up so he doesn’t get eaten by maggots
