Rikki La Rouge cover album of Willy Chirino songs “en Avenida de Willy Chirino”

My cover album Willy Chirino classics

By Rikki La RougePublished 7 months ago 3 min read

this is Rikki La Rouge version of ‘s classic song Canta. It was released on Willy‘s 1993 album or 92 album South Beach. My version of is a flamenco one. I think it came out really well. My vocals were awesome, me playing the guitar on this song by the way and that’s me clapping in the background too. I hope that you enjoy what you’re here. This song was included on a cover album of Willy Chirino songs that I did called en Avenida de Willy Chirino or on Willy Chirino avenue. Recording this cover album of Willie Torino songs was a labor of love and a privilege to do so. The message of is just always stay positive and anything negative that comes your way. Just keep going it will always pass and just keep singing a happy tune.

The vocals for this song were good enough to be put out as an a cappella track which I did. I just need to find it that’s all. All the instruments that I used for the track a guitar, my clapping hands, my vocals and the lyrics and inspiration to record this song the way I had .

I track, I really good recording equipment, I sang on it, it came sounding really good. What’s so great about this song that I the simplicity in it.

This is an acoustic version of another Willy Chirino song that I did for this album called which means the hooker. I know that actually heard it because I saw a video of him actually doing an acoustic version of much like I did. I like the way that my version came out. I just acoustic version of . La Jinetera is about a girl named Eva who has no choice, but to become a hooker in order to survive.

There’s gonna be a part two to this in order to showcase my work for this. It’s gonna be coming soon. One track I’m gonna be including is a Pari day lyrical nods to Willy in my songs. I did really cool variations of songs. My album really did come out really well. Another I’m gonna be my version of which I did as a pop Latino and hip-hop Latino track.

I really like the way the track came out. The lyrics are so Sweet for his love means you’re the best. It’s just a sweet love song. Nobody better than Willy Chirino could write a nice sweet love song like him. I got really inspired to do the album cover like this because he is an a amigo de La Luna, which means a friend of the moon as am I walking on Willy Chirino Avenue. The tracks are available on SoundCloud and also on vocal along with my explanations for each track.

His version is a salsa song, I am so happy that my version actually came out successfully. Off the project it is really the best tracks from it. So proud. My version i had done it as rap song and a very sexy and sensual rap song at that. It’s smoothe and sweet. Another thing that I am happy about is the fact that my track has a smooth and evident groove and that is important. Another thing that was important was that everything came out right. Mine like Willy’s is danceable and it’s a dope groove to step to. I am glad that all the ideas that I had for this cover album came out like they were supposed to. When I was recording this cover album I was doing 3 others at the same time for Prince, Selena, and Ozzy.
