Celebrates Literature
The most beautiful part of life
In the world where I live, where we live, where more people have lived and will live, there are horrible things, reasons to abandon life that have made many people tremble.
Even so, people keep living, for many reasons, perhaps a goal or objective they want to achieve, perhaps out of absolute resignation or an unbreakable will.
My reason for living, my happiness and my greatest pride as a human, literature.
I do not refer only to textbooks, I refer to everything.
Movies, video games, series. More useful things such as essays, reflections, theories. None of this would exist without literature, without the ability to capture ideas on paper, or as today, in the digital world.
All those things are useful in their own way, but what I value the most are stories.
That which is told and even what is not fully told.
Literature allows something incredible, something we could only imagine, something impossible in many ways, and that is living multiple lives.
You can experience the complete life of a street boy who became a God, the life of a man in a magical world, even the simple events of a romantic moment, of a mystery.
I can feel happiness, sadness, hope, fear and an endless number of emotions, all caused by a set of symbols on sheets of paper.
It is truly incredible to be able to do this, to be able to feel things that we do not experience, only imagine through literature.
Celebrate literature, because it is what allows us to transcend, to be something more, to reach something more.
A book can contain an entire lifetime of experiences in just a few thousand words, it is truly incredible and fascinating.
That is why I bring this message, a message that all those who read or write should receive.
Celebrate.
Celebrate life.
Celebrate art.
Celebrate literature.
Even if it is not always good, even if you do not always like it, even if it does not always provoke emotions in you.
Because art is the deepest expression of life, the expression of a living being, and life is the greatest miracle in the world.
