The First Glance

In a crowded room, our eyes first met,

A fleeting moment I’ll never forget.

Time seemed to pause, the world stood still,

My heart awakened against its will.

A spark ignited, unseen but felt,

In that instant, my resolve did melt.

The noise around us faded away,

As if the universe had naught to say.

Your eyes, a mirror of the skies,

Held secrets, dreams, and whispered sighs.

A silent promise, a hopeful chance,

All unfolded in that first glance.

No words were spoken, none were needed,

In that gaze, our souls were seeded.

A story started, pure and true,

Of a love that destiny drew.

In that first glance, a world was born,

A love to cherish, never to mourn.

With every heartbeat, I knew my fate,

In your eyes, I found my mate.
