Once upon a time, there were two friends who went to the same school but didn't know each other very well at first. They had different groups of friends. As they grew older, especially in middle school, they became closer. One friend liked to say, "You're my first best friend," to the other, showing how much their friendship meant.
When they started high school, they both made new friends. But sometimes, the first friend felt like the second friend was ignoring her. The second friend didn't realize this and thought everything was fine. They tried to fix it, but the first friend still felt left out.
Their new friends tried to help but didn't understand completely. Finally, the first friend spoke up and said she felt ignored. The second friend explained she was busy and didn't mean to ignore her.
After talking it out, they both understood each other better. A few months later, the first friend noticed something important: their new friends were also close to the second friend. This made her a bit upset because she always said, "I'm your first best friend."
But in the end, they realized what mattered most was enjoying their time together and being understanding. They learned that good communication and respecting each other's feelings make friendships stronger. They became even closer friends and all their friends were happy together.
