I Respected You - Until You Disrespected Me With Your "Good Intentions"

A Hard Truth For Some

You know how some people are like... "YOU ARE GOING TO HELL! REPENT NOW!" But like... what if you are a perfectly happy atheist who doesn't need to repent because you're secure in your lifestyle and belief, and...

"BUT I AM TRYING TO SAVE YOUR SOUL!"

No one fucking asked you to save their soul. They didn't... if they wanted to know what's so great about religion and asked... sure! What a GREAT time to talk about God positively and convert someone who WANTS to believe? But that "Christian" with "good intentions?" You're not being a good person. You are being an asshole.

Let's talk about other groups of people who are even more disrespectful than the 'good-intentioned' Christian.

And I'm sorry. It's very rude of me to say 'groups of people.' I should say "subgroups of groups of people." Some vegans are perfectly normal human beings, and they can refrain from commenting on other people's lifestyles in snide, rude, disrespectful, and judgy ways. They offer their insights on why they choose it - WHEN SOMEONE ASKS. Those vegans are awesome. Thank you - awesome respectful nondiscriminatory vegans - for being that way even though you probably hate everyone's choices in your lives around you.

But some people just can't help themselves. Their good intentions become obsessive, and then they live their life in a deranged, unhealthy, obsessed mania, and like dementia patients, they have that constant white noise in their head: SHARE THE CAUSE SHARE THE CAUSE! DESTROY THE WORLD WITH YOUR GOOD INTENTIONS! BURN THEM! KILL THEM! MASSACRE THE CHEESE AND EGG EATERS!

And then their good intentions become toxic and disrespectful.

For example... I wrote an article. This article was about teaching my son how to make a grilled cheese sandwich. The message of the article: Take time to take those precious moments with their kids, and teach them how to grow. Spend time with them and bond with them as they grow up and learn. How it can be fun and magical.

Then someone with 'good intentions' came and disrespected me on my article... over cheese.

Her first comment was: "Your article is a slap in the face to what I just posted!" Then a link to unreasonable and inaccurate vegan propaganda. Comparing human women and their breast milk to cows. The 'rancher' talking about how they will die if they can't produce milk or some stupid, unrealistic bullshit. By the way - thats NOT how 98% of people treat their livestock. You ARE in fact, WRONG and DELUSIONAL if you think Ranchers demoralize their cows.

Scientically speaking - happy, healthy, nonstressed, well-taken care of women produce more breast milk than stressed our or sick ones. Do you REALLY think that ranchers can make a profit if they mistreat their cows?

NO. Biology will ALWAYS WIN. Dairy cows are treated GOOD. Because happy cows make milk. Just WANT to point that out there. Are there some horrible animal cruelty mother fuckers out there? YES. Do I think that people who abuse their livestock should be euthanized and eaten by society so they can't hurt things anymore? YES. I DO. Just because I eat meat, cheese and milk - does NOT mean I condone animal cruelty.

In fact - I even have my own chickens so I do not support egg manufacterers because I know that most CHICKEN producers don't think chickens have feelings or souls and stack them in tiny cages and pump them with steroids and hormones.

I know that. So I have my own chickens. So that I can eat eggs I know are produced from happy, healthy, non-hormone-fed chickens that are quite frankly SUPER spoiled with fresh vegetables from my garden almost EVERY day. I'm not against veganism, or educating the public on animal cruelty.

But when I was openly attacked on my article over cheese, I was a little surprised.

I got a little taken aback. I was embarrassed and slightly humiliated by this person. I wrote an article about a meaningful moment with my son, and this person is attacking me, basically saying I'm a murderer because we eat cheese. So I responded with a sternly worded response about how it was disrespectful to demean and patronize other people's messages. I advised her that not shoving her lifestyle down other people's throats would be a better way to make friends. I also informed her, just in case she didn't know, that judging other people just because they don't have the same lifestyle then her, is obnoxious and it will make people dislike her. I also advised her it's no different than the two-faced preacher saying someone is going to hell just for being different.

They, like an unhealthy deranged obsessed, and slightly delusional Communist Nazi, told me that because I condone eating cheese, I also condone PEDOPHILIA. It wasn't about being different. It was about condoning murder and pedophilia.

That's right guys. Because I eat cheese I also encourage pedophiles to go about raping and molesting our children.

Oh, and also, according to this lunatic, I'm poisoning my children.

Needless to say - this WAS an author I followed. I don't anymore. I've also reported her.

The cheese part of my article wasn't even the major point. The cheese... wasn't the cheese of the article.

The major point was about teaching your children and spending time with them. The cheese part was irrelevant other than the fact that I was teaching him to make a grilled cheese sandwich... my ten-year-old son is growing up and learning.

Ah but... I'm a child-poisoning pedophile sympathizer. Because I eat cheese.

Do you see why I am calling her a lunatic?

I'm not angry - I'm disappointed that people can't even respect each other on a writing platform where we are supposed to help each other grow based on our WRITING. We are supposed to either comment about the MESSAGE of an article or give tips on writing techniques or formatting. Suggestions for articles, maybe even have little non-official contests. Interact and engage with people - in a respectful, positive manner. Maybe even share each other's pieces on social media. This isn't the place for drama - and I had done nothing to deserve someone simping on my profile and targetting me for my choice in dietary lifestyle.

Ok. I might be offended that someone delusional and ignorant said that I condone pedophilia -especially since I am a CSAS (child sexual abuse survivor). I might be very offended by that particular comment.

See, if she had known a SINGLE thing about me - she might have been more careful about her words. But she didn't. She and her 'good intentions' to 'save' my children (LOL! The idea she actually thinks this nonsense is kinda funny) said that since I told her to stop being disrespectful to other people just because SHE has certain lifestyle choices... she told me... who was molested at 5 years that I condone pedophilia.

I'm sorry. Let me tell you her exact words:

"By your logic, pedophiles should be left alone to do what they do since that is a lifestyle."

Not only is she disrespectful - but she also thinks pedophilia is a LIFESTYLE. Hahahahaha....I'm sorry. Her ignorance is funny... It's hard to be offended when I'm laughing so hard at the sheer stupidity of the comparison.

I personally think it's an illness that science should figure out how to eliminate from human genetics. But, according to her, I eat cheese so I think that a 'pedo lifestyle' is okay.

Oh my god. Just figured out. I'm not offended by her words or her disrespect. I'm offended by the stupidity of her argument. Seriously, if you're going to disrespect someone on their own article - have an INTELLIGENT argument ready. And don't say some stupid shit like: "Oh, that logic says you encourage pedophilia because you think your life style of eating cheese is okay." You are NOT making a strong argument for veganism. You're just STUPID. That is ALL. You're not smart. You're not brave. You're not saving the planet. You're not making a strong valid argument for veganism just because you brought the comparison of child molesters into the topic. You're JUST stupid. Only stupid.

And quite frankly - I think this person needs to go re-educate herself on ALL the stupidity that she said today. It's like talking to a child who can't read. You know they THINK they are reading, as they make up this bullshit fairytale, and they THINK they are so smart... The person who attacked me today was that brat at the library with boogers running down their nose telling me she can read but the book is upside down.

If you are going to try and make a 'strong argument' as to why you weren't 'being disrespectful' when you demoralized and patronized my work and the message of my article - you better sound fucking smart while doing it and sweetheart you did NOT. All you did was activate my stupidity sensor - and that makes me want to rage and roll for a reckless attack against your stupid face and hands so you can't talk or type anymore.

You deserved to be SILENCED if you are going to have a STUPID UNEDUCATED IGNORANT response as to why you thought it was okay to disrespect me and patronize the true message of what I was writing. *Deep Beathes* No... we aren't going to stoop to her level. And we aren't going to let her win by giving in the rage that sheer stupidity makes me feel.

Ignorant fucking twat....

Well, at least writing this article helped me sort out my confusing negative feelings. I can let them go, knowing that she and her ignorance and her disrespect are irrelevant to my life.

I'm also tempted to go slaught the rooster that keeps leaving long bloody gashes in my arms when I try to feed and water him and have him for lunch - JUST on principle. I don't eat my chickens usually - but he is REALLY mean, and apparently I'm a murdering pedophile encourager anyway. Might as well go big or go home right?

My point is: Don't go around disrespecting people on your writing platforms. And put away your 'good intentions.' Because those 'good intentions' are going to lead you straight to hell.

Your opinion on other people's life choices is not welcome or wanted. And quite frankly, unless they are HURTING you - Which they CAN'T because this is a WRITING PLATFORM - Shut the hell up. Don't have an opinion on other people's diets or relationships. It's NONE of your business. Unless they are writing an article about how much they enjoy strangling cats or fondling newborns - your opinion is irrelevant because the author doesn't know you and doesn't care about you. That's just how it is. I don't care if you are a vegan and someone posts about making hamburgers - don't disrespect, demean, humiliate, or propagate other people's articles.

Unless your opinion on someone's lifestyle or choices are specifically solicited within the article for your opinions - your opinions and your good intentions are just like assholes: Everyone has one, right? The same applies to excuses.

I don't care if you're trying to save the planet. Do not tell other people they are encouraging pedophilia just because they eat cheese. It's ignorant and it makes you look STUPID. So VERY STUPID.

And you know what?

You never know if the person you disrespect is going to humiliate you with a whole article talking about how stupid you made yourself look with your ignorance. Because if you are going to disrespect someone. You're probably going to get disrespected back.

Thanks for reading my vent, Vocal Community. Sorry, it wasn't one of my usual happy family-related articles.

Now THAT is a proper vent! Your writer's voice had me rolling though. I could so hear you saying those things out loud. You are part of the voice in my head when I've dealt with stupid people, I'm sure of it. Hard to believe people can be that way, but we live longer and fine there are even deeper depths of stupid. Eww. Glad you reported them and fought back.

  • Oh wow, that's a lotttttt of rage. I'm glad you got it all out through writing. I'm not gonna take sides because both of you are my friends. But I understand your anger and I feel it's valid. Sending you lots of love and hugs ❤️
