R. Kelly Victim Breaks Silence In Her First TV Interview
The victim of R. Kelly is releasing a memoir titled "Who’s Watching Shorty?: Reclaiming Myself from the Shame of R. Kelly’s Abuse."

Comedians like Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle cast a bit of light on a serious situation as sexual abuse. The one who experienced the abuse at the hands of R. Kelly felt like all the jokes mocked her.
Reshonda Landfair is clearing the air by speaking out in her memoir Who’s Watching Shorty? Reclaiming Myself from the Abuse of R. Kelly.
With her no longer the Jane Doe, Miss Landfair has her book out against the naysayers, haters, and subjectivists. What she shares in the book remain spiritual affirmations as opposed to pointing fingers.
She states that Kelly was like a guardian and a predator all wrapped up in one.
In the highest levels of exploring this sordid affair from the 2001 video to his 31-year prison sentence, Landfair seems to not be what she’s been through.
But the real question is if Kelly should be let out based on his vast abilities. Should he be released and permitted to make five albums just off the strength of his talent?
Landfair seems too modest to say she’s proud of herself. It’s a good thing her name is now for all-time. Reshonda Landfair is focused on rebuilding her life, yet Kelly is equipped with gifts that have changed worlds. Over the past few decades, Kelly has been a stalwart for artistry.
This is a wonderful reminder that someone who is virtually illiterate could achieve the levels of success he experienced. The world is missing out on the mind of one of the most influential and talented artists of all time.
What Landfair is doing is just “walking in her truth.” She didn’t know that she would be the eye of a storm that would send the best R&B singer in generations to fend for himself behind the wall.
In the extended interview, she speaks of how well she is and that she rose above all the sneers and punchlines. This is good for her spirit, not in a mystical way either. She is apologizing to herself and making amends for time she spent working on her conscience.
All of the days that Robert Kelly has stayed behind bars, he could’ve been cooking up here for the streets. In his time as the best singer-songwriter and performer, Kelly has positioned himself as a legend in the game.
What is missing from Landfair’s interview is the graphic details from the infamous footage. Should Kelly become a folk hero again? There may be a strong chance he might get out earlier than expected. In that time he’s probably written dozens of songs. Would it be so wrong to have Kells back in the world, having learned his lesson over these past few years? What is the difference between all of the other perverts who violated minors? It’s his overwhelming sense of creativity. It might be a sacrilege to even consider the fact Kelly could be let out of confinement. It is, however, apparent that he’s served part of his sentence and that should be a reason for him to re-enter into society.
In the book, Shorty, Landfair tearfully gets choked up in her process for re-discovering herself. She kept her mind together by looking at the facts of the case.
We know, however, that Landfair is going to profit off of this project while Kelly languishes in a cell. Just imagine all of the various songs he could have recorded. Once he is released, he might be able to breathe and collaborate with new artists. Not one to repeat bad behavior, R. Kelly could become the singer behemoth he once was…and more than that.
