That is great!! I remember my daughter wouldn't watch Lassie on television for the exact reasons you described. Emotional depths, adventure and risk. Even though I would tell her Lassie was the star and would be okay, she didn't want to watch Lassie.❤️
Reading this gave me such a nostalgic feeling of cosy childhood reads in my favorite book nook. Well done my friend!
Well done, Laura.😄 You just introduced me to such a nice book, and it is definitely at the top of my TBR list. I like how detailed you reviewed this novel so that even people who haven't read it know what it is about.
What a great review of a classic novel. I am trying to find my copy. I remember before going to school watching Timmy and Lassie and the last episode of that series Lassie and the Ranger got together and had many adventures.
Beautifully written! Laura
