Monarch: Legacy Of Monsters
Waiting For Series II

Introduction
I don't know how I fell into this one, basically an Apple TV take on the Godzilla myth, totally not my cup of tea, or so I thought.
This is a brief intro from somewhere:
After the world-shattering revelation that monsters are real, two siblings follow in their father's footsteps to uncover their family's connection to the secretive organization known as Monarch.
Monarch: Legacy Of Monsters - Why It Grabbed Me
The CGI is good, and John Goodman at the start is always a good pointer. It flips between the nuclear fears of the early fifties, vague references to Chernobyl, fifties misogyny, and the discovery that huge monsters are coming to earth via interdimensional tunnels.
The organisation Monarch is formed in the fifties to investigate these monsters, but it becomes extremely secretive, and not in a good way. Their answer to the monsters is generally a nuclear attack. The bomb fails.
There is a lot of time jumping caused by the parallel dimensions
Conclusion
I know this is short but watch the trailer, and hopefully that will show you why I am waiting for series II.

Interesting. History and science and even I guess family drama and wove together. I like futuristic stories and shows, but not really the ones that seem to have 'monsters transformed somehow'. Good job sharing this show.
