What do you do when you don’t have the money to travel? You get a window, that's what you do. Sometimes you buy the window. But when you can't, you borrow it from the library. That’s what National Geographic was for me as a child. The window of my dreams.

You're so academical. I only watched cartoons as a child, lol!
I used to LOVE National Geographic! But since the magazine acquired by Rupert Murdoch, I have had a hard time reading it. National Geographic History is fantastic though.
Dad always had an entire shelf of National Geographic. I had a classmate in grade school who brought them to school to show his buddies the bare breasted women in Africa.
