Mother Nurture vs Mother nature

"The one that tells us how we are and the one who teaches us Who we are."

Being a parent is a job of love and dedication.

What's naturally expected of us is generally implied by our surrounding environment. From a young age to the point we are fully grown adults. There is usually a "natural" order to things, the scientific solution or logical explanation, but isn't there sometime a feeling of something more? We don't solely exist and are how we are just because. We have learned and been taught by the things and many people in our environment around us. Our parents are a prime example of this and moms in particular have a special connection to their children that is especially unique. I've always heard stories from people that I talk to and one thing I've noticed about many moms is that they all remember the days and times of each of their children's birth. Not just the day but the time too. Obviously regardless of the situation each birth of a child is a pivot point in their lives as well as their child's because it was the day everything started for them. As a kid we have no reference point for anything in our lives except the lesson brought to us by our parents. My mom has taught me so many things and helped me develop my core values as the person I am today. She taught me about morals and how to take care of myself. Even told me and my siblings we all have bright futures ahead of us and has been there for us along the way. She's always there to lend an ear in times of trouble, she's always there to give advice and comfort when it's needed. There is so much that I have gone through that she has been there for me both younger and older. I remember the times where she would read me, my brothers, and sisters bedtime stories before tucking us in. All the times she's prepared us meals everyday, the time she would spend with us and the effort she would put in to go above and beyond for us out of pure love and appreciation for us. I will admit not everything is always so perfect though either we've all had our moments of being ungrateful. Usually it comes in the form of highschool. When we hit that rebellious stage of not wanting to listen to anyone but ourselves. I've been there and so have many others, but after all of that I realized without her or my dad none of what I have would be possible. I told myself I should be more grateful to them than anyone else because they were the ones that gave me a chance. Sure it could have just been a thing of nature, but instead the environment that they gave me has allowed me to be the best I can be and be grateful for it. Moms put in so much time and effort into raising us as kids and I see it more and more as time goes on the ungratefulness being developed in these future generations. It's a trend that I will not be a part of but instead take the things that I have learned from my mom and dad and use those lessons and values to thank them and appreciate all moms and dads for doing their best and allowing us the greatest gift of all a chance to live and to have them as an example of how to be. We all need a role model in our lives nature can only do so much for us. We run the cycle of life but if we just did that we would only learn so much and that's it. Having someone to be the example for us is the greatest gift we can receive because we become even better ourselves from the lesson and advice passed down generation after generation so that we won't have to repeat the mistakes of the past and do new and amazing things. Mom you are my coach and teacher, you a great advisor and leader, You have always been there for me and will always, as will I be for you. There are no other words I can use to express all the things that you've done for me, my brothers, and sisters but we love you and appreciate you from the bottoms of our hearts.
