"Banjo, when will we get out of here?"
"I don't know, Woody, it all depends on Mommy."
"What do you mean Banjo?"
" She is doing her housework right now."
"When will she have time? I am only a stuffed toy, to most of the world."
"But you are real to me Woody, you are my very best friend."
"I know I am, you are my best friend too, Banjo. I really don't have any other friends. The other toys don't count." I knew you would be my best friend, from the very moment you opened me from the package. I could feel it, there was friendship and love in the air, when you tore off the plastic."
"Yes, I could see it too, Woody."
"Did you always, spend this much time in the cage, Banjo?"
"Yes, Mommy said, when I grow up some and get to be a big boy, and I am housebroken, I can spend more time outside of these prison walls, they call a cage."
"I will keep you company, and be your support, Banjo."
"I knew you would, Woody, I too could feel that we would be best friends, when I opened the plastic. When I tore the plastic off of you, you came alive, at least to me."
"Mommy thinks I am just being cute, hugging you, and she is taking a picture with her phone, but she doesn't understand a pup's love for one of his toys. I am hugging you Woody, not to be cute. but because I love you Woody." Many humans do not understand, their canine's love for a certain toy, they just consider it their favorite toy. But it really is much more than that. Woody, I want you to be there for everything, and I want you to come everywhere with me."
"Where do you go, besides this jail cell?"
"I get to go outside to go to the bathroom, and I will take you with me. I also go outside for playtime, several times a day, when Mommy has time. I will take you there too Woody."
"Who did you take outside, before I came?"
"I took Duckie outside, before you came, he is the one with the orange feet, and tan with brown spots."
"Won't his feelings be hurt, now that you are taking me outside instead?"
"He will have to get over it, Woody, you are now my one and only."
"Won't the other toys, feel left out, and won't they be mean to me?"
"I will take care of that, Woody, I might be only a puppy, but I am the King of my toys."
"Okay, Banjo, but who is that black dog?"
"He is my canine brother, he was here when I got here, and you can see him walk by my cage, or what I call my prison cell."
"He has a lot of toys, and a big toy box, maybe someday I will have that many toys too."
"Will you like me any less, when you have lots of toys?"
"No Woody, you will always be my number one, toy."
"I am glad, I would hate to be thrown in a toy box, and have a bunch of other toys, thrown in on top of me. This is a nice blanket, that they have you lying on, Banjo, it is soft and comfy."
"Yes, the black dog, has one too, Mommy says his name is Comfort. That is another reason, why I am in this jail cell, so he won't hurt me. You can never be too careful you know."
"Anyway, if I am correct, it is time to go outside now, it's bathroom time, and you are going with me, Woody. It is time to introduce you to the patio. It is where we go for playtime too. "
