"Mr. and Mrs. Cassan, the results are back."
"And?" asked Mr. Cassan.
"You know we had to do all these tests because a shared delusion is rare."
Delusion. The couple smirked at each other. They knew they had both been abducted. They knew what the aliens had done to them.
"But we believe it now. We've done every test there is--imaging, blood work, everything."
"And?" asked Mr. Cassan.
"And," he said, turning to Mrs. Cassan, "against all odds, you're pregnant."
"That's why you believe us now?" Mrs. Cassan asked.
"No."
"Then what?" asked Mr. Cassan.
"Mr. Cassan, you're pregnant, too."

*****Preface***** I have been obsessed with Choose Your Own Adventure stories since I was a kid. I credit them with my love of reading and writing. I've been struggling to get my own kids to embrace words the same way I have but they love video games and our occasional Dungeon's and Dragon's game... which gave me an idea.
