In ancient times, there are two friends, accompanied by a distant place to look for happiness and joy in life, along the way to the wind and food, in the upcoming goal, encountered a windy and high wave of the sea, and the other side of the sea is the paradise of happiness and joy, about how to cross the sea, the two people have different views. 

    One suggested harvesting the nearby trees to create a wooden boat to cross the sea, the other thought that either way is impossible to cross this sea, rather than seeking trouble and death, we should wait for this sea to flow dry, and then easily walk across. 

    So, the person who suggested building a boat cut down trees every day, hard and active manufacturing boats, and incidentally, learn to swim; while the other lay down every day to rest and sleep, and then go to the river to observe the sea flow dried up or not. Until one day, when the friend who had built the boat was ready to set sail, the other friend was still laughing at his folly. However, the friend who had built the boat was not angry, and before he left, he only said to his friend: "To do everything may not necessarily be successful, but not to do everything must have no chance to get success!" 

    It is indeed a "great" idea to think of lying until the sea water flows dry and then crossing the sea, but unfortunately, it is just a "great" idea that is doomed to fail forever. The sea did not dry up after all, and the friend who built the boat after some wind and waves also eventually reached the other side of the goal, the two later settled on the two shores of the sea, but also derived many of their children and grandchildren. One side of the sea is called the fertile ground of happiness and joy, living with a group of people we call diligent and brave, and the other side of the sea is called the original place of failure and loss, living with a group of people we call lazy and cowardly.

People with different standpoints and in different environments can hardly understand each other's feelings; therefore, it is not advisable to gloat over other people's disappointments, setbacks, and hurts, but to care and rely on oneself.

The little snail asks its mother: Why do we have to carry this hard and heavy shell since we were born?

Mom: Because our body has no bones to support us, we can only crawl, and we can't crawl fast enough. So we need the protection of this shell!

Little snail: The caterpillar sister has no bones and can't crawl fast, but why does she not have to carry this hard and heavy shell?

Mom: Because the caterpillar can turn into a butterfly and the sky will protect her.

Little snail: But the earthworm brother also has no bones and can't crawl fast, and he won't become a butterfly, so why doesn't he carry this hard and heavy shell?

Mom: Because the earthworm brother can drill the earth, the earth will protect him.

The little snail cried: "We are so poor, the sky doesn't protect us, and the earth doesn't protect us either.

The snail's mother comforted him: "That's why we have shells!

We don't rely on the sky, nor on the earth, we rely on ourselves.
