This summer, the "Ocean Desert Expedition" with Harrison as its captain fired a cannon and set sail towards 60 degrees south latitude. Harrison was the first mate of an ocean-going ship, and this expedition was the first he initiated.

The expedition ship was moving at a constant speed on the endless Atlantic Ocean, and Harrison stood on the deck thinking about it. Although he is experienced, the expedition is not a normal sea after all. Not to mention that this time he went to a sea area with no route at all.

To add to the excitement of the expedition, the ship did not have a cell phone or maritime phone. People say, these people are crazy!

After the expedition ship entered the predetermined sea area, there was a sudden strong wind, and the waves tens of meters high filled the cabin with water in a while. Harrison ordered everyone to put on life jackets while directing the expedition members to pan out the water. The wind and waves came so suddenly that the expedition ship finally sank to one side after several bumps.

Harrison strung everyone together with a hand rope, then shouted his horn and jumped into the sea together.

The wind and waves still did not subside, and the expedition members could not feel the existence of anything except the rope in their hands. But everyone was not the first to go to sea. Although they were afraid, they did not panic, and they all held on to the lifeline tightly, for fear that they would die at the bottom of the sea if they were negligent.

I don't know how long it took, the wind and waves gradually subsided. Everyone floated in the water, and their eyes turned to Harrison. Harrison knew that everyone was blaming him for not having communication equipment. Now, just a few days out at sea, the shore would not have thought that something had happened here. If this goes on, you will not starve to death, but also have to be eaten by sharks.

As the saying goes: "There is no way out". Just when everyone was at a loss, a black spot appeared in sight. "There's a boat!" someone shouted happily. Harrison shook his head and said, "It won't be a boat, there's no route here, and I haven't heard of a second boat exploring, it might be an island."

Everyone struggled to swim over and saw that it was indeed a small island. Everyone supported each other to climb onto the island, lying on the ground one by one, gasping for breath.

"We can't wait to die like this." Harrison's words seemed like an order,

"Everyone split up immediately and see what to eat on the island."

After a while, people came back disappointed. On this small island of less than one square kilometer, apart from the stubbornly growing weeds in the cracks of the stones, there were almost no living things to be found, and people had to spend the night hungry.

The next morning, while people were lying on the ground groaning in despair, suddenly a dark thing climbed ashore. At first, everyone thought it was an otter, but when they looked closely, they didn't know it.

Harrison motioned for everyone to lie behind the rock, and when the black thing got close, Harrison jumped up and smashed a stone the size of a bowl on the black guy's head. The guy swung his head a few times, stretched out his legs, and saw Yama.

Everyone gathered around excitedly, but then sat on the ground in disappointment. Because there is nothing to burn on the island, that is to say, this black thing like a sea otter can only be eaten raw.

Harrison is allergic to all kinds of animal meat, let alone raw or cooked, and he won't take a bite. He walked away silently, walked around the island again, and came back empty when he saw that there was really nothing to eat.

The poor animal had been dismembered, and several people were grinning at the black-haired flesh. But more people couldn't eat it, picked up the bloody flesh and put it down. Some vomited without eating.

Night soon came again. In order to save energy, everyone hardly moved all day. The person who ate the meat was already sleeping soundly, and he was hungry without eating, tossing and turning and couldn't sleep.

Suddenly, Woolf staggered to his feet and walked towards the beach. Harrison thought that this man was of good quality and knew how to go far to relieve himself. He was just about to close his eyes when he saw Ryan also stand up and walk in the other direction.

Another bright morning, Harrison looked up at the sea, and the lifeboat he hoped for was still without a shadow. He wanted to say a few words to cheer everyone up, but found that there seemed to be not enough people; after counting carefully, Woolf and Ryan were not seen. Harrison asked if everyone saw them, and everyone shook their heads.

In the blink of an eye, it was noon, and Woolf and Ryan had not come back. Harrison stood up forcefully and looked into the distance, where was their shadow. Everyone quickly split up to look for it, but as a result, they couldn't even find a piece of clothing.

"There are ghosts here!" someone whispered, "I heard my dad say that there are many ghosts at sea!"

Harrison wanted to say something, opened his mouth and closed it. He was also wondering, where did the two go if there were no ghosts?

The "ghost" immediately occupied the brains of these people, making them feel terrifying here. Leslie said: "If there is a ghost, then none of us can run away! If you are a ghost, you must be a dead ghost!" Saying that, he took a piece of meat, bit it with his teeth, and shook his head desperately, trying to tear off a piece. Others may be afraid, and they all watched Leslie swallow a piece of meat raw.

That night, Harrison was thrilled to see Leslie stand up again in a trance and stagger into the distance. He got up and caught up, but since he hadn't eaten for more than two days, he fell to the ground as soon as he stood up, unconscious.

After an unknown amount of time, Harrison woke up. He propped himself up and looked at his companions, counting and counting, but Leslie was missing.

"There really are'ghosts'!" The thought startled him. He immediately woke everyone up and told what he had seen and heard. People's faces mutated and they were completely drowsy.

For the next few days, despite people looking out for each other, people were taken away by "ghosts" every day. The flesh was quickly eaten up, and no animals showed up. Everyone thought of fishing, but after a busy morning, they didn't even catch a fish scale. Harrison said: "The reason why this is called'the desert in the ocean 'is because of the shortage of fishery resources. I think it's better not to bother, just eat these weeds."

More than ten days passed in a flash. Just as the weeds on the island were about to be eaten up, another black thing climbed up in the sea. It also failed to escape the doom of death, and was eaten alive by the starving people.

That night, the terrifying "ghost" reappeared, and when Harrison opened his eyes another morning, he was alone on the island.

"My God!" Harrison screamed and passed out...

When he woke up, he found that he was on a boat surrounded by many people. A man saw him open his eyes and said happily: "I finally woke up. It's horrible! I was in a coma for three days."

Only then did Harrison know that he had been rescued.

"What about those people? Why only you?"

"'Ghosts'! They were all taken away by'Ghosts'!" Harrison recounted what had happened these days on and off.

"You said the'ghost 'took them away, so why didn't the'ghost' take you away?"

"I don't know either. Maybe they angered the'ghost 'by eating meat."

"You mean you're the only one who didn't eat meat?" someone asked in confusion.

"Yes, I never eat meat, my friends know that."

This time, people finally believed that there were indeed "ghosts" on the island.

This matter spread ten or ten times, and soon reached the ears of a scientist named Smyastor. After Smyastor inquired about the matter in detail, he used a cutting-edge high-speed centrifugal analyzer to isolate a special biochemical substance from the remaining skin and flesh cells of the animal. It was found that this substance can make people produce Strong "induced hallucinations" make people unconsciously enter the wonderful world of hallucinations.

"Those who eat this meat, after the food is digested, this hallucinogenic substance in the food acts to cause wonderful hallucinations in their cerebral cortex," Smyastor said. Led to the sea, and unknowingly died at the bottom of the sea. "

This incident quickly appeared in the newspapers. Although people knew the reason for the incident, more people didn't believe it. They all said, "That's a'ghost island '! If you don't believe me, you can try it?"
