Island adventure
Once upon a time, there was a wise king who ruled many islands. The king likes to hunt very much and often goes hunting in the surrounding islands.
One day, the king summoned more than a dozen confidants and cronies from among the dignitaries, and took the prime minister to a small island to hunt. The king and the prime minister boarded one boat, while the courtiers and servants followed in another boat.
They encountered a great storm in the vast sea, and when the storm subsided, the people on the king's ship could no longer see the boat behind them. They planned to land on a nearby island in order to find some food and fresh water. Soon they found a small island with lush trees and beautiful cages, and, from the boat, many streams and springs gleaming in the sun.
After they got ashore, the first thought that came to the king's mind was to take a sip of water immediately. He and the prime minister walked towards a beautiful pond. Just as they were holding the water in their hands and were about to drink, a terrifying voice suddenly came from the tree: "If you still want to live, don't drink the water here!"
The king was taken aback and couldn't help but wonder: how could there be a sound in the heart of the tree? He turned around and saw that the big tree was shaking. In an instant, a dark-skinned fairy with shiny white hair appeared.
At first, the king thought that he had encountered a monster, but he quickly calmed down and walked forward to ask the fairy: "Please tell me, why is this water not drinkable?"
The fairy replied, "Because if you drink the water here, you will suddenly turn into a stone. If you don't believe it, just break a branch from the tree and immerse it in water and try it."
So the king and the prime minister walked to the tree together, and the next branch was immersed in water, and the branch turned into stone.
The king said to the fairy, "Please show me a miracle."
"Okay, I'll show you a miracle you never expected." The fairy said to the king, "Stand up, you walk straight into that forest."
The king did as he did, but as soon as he took a few steps, he saw a domed white marble hall in front of him. As soon as he entered, he saw a gorgeous and charming girl sitting on a couch. When she saw the king come in, she stood up to greet him and held his hand tightly. She told the king to sit on the couch beside her and began to chat with him. As she spoke, the king seemed to feel that her couch was slowly rising. Then they flew out of the roof, flew higher and higher, and landed sharply in a beautiful garden. Later, he found that the couch and the girl were gone. The king looked everywhere among the flowers, but it didn't take long for him to indulge in the beauty.
The leaves on the trees seemed to be dancing happily, and the roses were smiling at him. But as soon as the king reached out to pick the roses, the thorns suddenly grew. Like sharp arrows, they shot at him. The king was taken aback, and quickly withdrew his hands and fled the garden. Then he took a walk on an uninhabited road, and came to another garden. The garden was full of daffodils. As the king approached, the budding daffodils bloomed at once. But when the king bent down to admire it, the daffodils rolled down with hot tears. The king had to escape from the garden again. After a while, he came to a garden full of fragrant tulips. He was immediately overwhelmed by the strong smell, and had to run out of the garden again. Unexpectedly, the fourth garden appeared on the road again. As soon as the king entered, he saw lilies growing all over the garden. Ten girls sang fascinating verses among the flowers.
Although it was full of joy, the king did not want to stay there. He hurried on his way, and finally came to a big tree. Under the tree there was a pure and sweet spring, and by the spring there was a couch. There was a young girl sitting on it and resting. Her astonishing beauty immediately made the king forget his tiredness, and he couldn't help but woo her. Unexpectedly, the young girl answered the king and said, "Whoever has not been cleansed in the fountain of light will not be able to woo me. Get into the spring, and when you come out of the water, you will be clean and spotless, and then you can woo me.
Hearing the girl's words, the king stood up and jumped into the spring. When he got to the spring, the king realized that not only had he not been able to float up, but on the contrary, he had already sunk and was unconscious.
When the king woke up and saw his prime minister in front of him, the fairy was still standing in the original place. As soon as he sat up, the fairy immediately got into the talking tree. After a while, the tree closed and returned to its original state, as if he and the prime minister had just arrived on the island.
Then the king and the prime minister set off in search of food and fresh water. They picked a lot of fruit, filled the jars and jars with fresh water, and nothing strange happened again. They returned to the country safely along the same road. The king ascended the golden throne again, and lived the same prosperous and prosperous life as before, but he could not forget his adventures on that island.
