They had all accepted disease, decay and death as if they were part of life. The epidemic on earth was so prevalent that it has become known as normal to expect loved ones to become ill and eventually die.
Even the medical profession was labelling decay as ‘normal’ aging. Generation after generation of humans were following this belief system and it seemed no end was in sight.
“Master, may we send down a prophet? Someone to teach them?” asked the hopeful student.
Vishru looked at him with great empathy. He typed something into his control panel and the shuttle window transformed from a view of earth to one of statistics.
“Young Pharise, I admire your compassion. But it is misplaced on these beings. We have already send many of our people to teach them. Just look at this list.” he gestured to a large section coloured red.
“All of these empaths were sent to earth with the same desire to lift them from their ignorance and self imposed suffering. Your ancestors also believed we could educate them. Do you know what happened to our people?”
Pharise shook his head.
Vishru drew a deep breath before continuing. “You must understand that these beings do not want to advance emotionally. They actively fight against it. They even self poison against it. They are only concerned with what they consider to be cerebral, intellectual or industrial advancements.”
“What happened to our people?”
Vishru’s eyes grew dark and cold.
“They murdered every last one”

Love the philosophical ideas here Kayleigh! 😊👍
Suffering is a mental choice it seems 😭
Omggggg! This is like so true! This is exactly what's happening! Our suffering is definitely self imposed. Like I would say that I've now become a mortalist. Like I just accept it as it is. Also, higher beings can only can those who want to be helped and also help themselves. I'm gonna nominate this for a Top Story in Discord!
Chilling.
