It was an old colonial town in Osclee County, a suburb in a quaint and quiet city in Massachuttes. It was where the revolution had started that formed this country, but now it was in the news again. Or was it?

This was an intersection, not busy by some people's standards. However, it was something that landed there, that made the news. People didn't quite know what to make of it, no one had seen anything like it before. It landed there right in the middle of the street.

Inspector Bill from the Anomalous Phenomena office, under the Department of Defense, was called to inspect a Unidentified Flying Object, commonly known as a UFO. He shrugged his shoulders, and shook his head, and headed out to Osclee County. He expected to see the usual, the "Oz Factor", where people often described a disorientaing feeling where witnesses feel isolated or transported from the real world into a slightly altered, dream like environment.

At any rate, Inspector Bill had heard it all. He drove from headquarters, with the complaint clipped to his visor, and he briefly looked up at it, and shook his head, and muttered to hiself, "everyone's got an imagination, let's see what some idiot has been up to now. It is probably some weather balloon, or something, everybody sees things and thinks they are on Star Trek."

Inspector Bill, didn't like his job very much, since Trump was in office, he got transferred from the FBI, to this agency, which he found rediculous. He considered this department foolish and a waste of the countries money, however, who was he to say. He was just one man that needed to keep his job. Many others were fired without warning, in the Federal system. He was considered one of the lucky ones.

As he apporached the scene of the reported event, he turned his stearing wheel sharply to the left, then straighted it out, and parked over by the curb. Upon observing the object in the street, he wondered what the hell, could that be? There must be some explanation. He observed a round cylinder object, and it had smoke coming out of the bottom of it. He right away thought it was some kind of weather balloon, that had gotten off course, or some new kind of drone, that they hadn't made anyone aware of yet. However, it was his job to investigate, so that is exactly what he would do. His pay was the same either way.

He exited his vehicle, and he cautiously walked up to the object lying in the street. He cleared his throat and coughed, the smoke from the object, blew up in his face and choked him. He spit, nervously, because he didn't know what to expect. He gained his composure, and zeroed in to take a closer look. He bought out his cell phone, and made a call reporting to the office. He barked at the person on the other end, "Yeah, I don't know what the hell it is, it's probably a drone that got off course."

"How big is it?", he asked.

"Do you want me to measure it for you?" the inspector snapped irritated.

"Yes, if you don't mind, inspector." The inspector got out his ruler, and started to measure the object. He spoke into the phone, "It is 3 feet high, and 2 feet wide, and a length of 3 feet, it isn't like anything I have ever seen before."

Just then the inspector heard a beep, and it was coming through a radiation detector on his belt that detects radiation. "What the hell, he yelled into the phone?" He looked over the object carefully, and smoke was still coming out of the bottom of it.

The inspector tried to keep his business type tone. "Look, I don't know what we got here, but you have to send some people from the bomb squad down here, to see what we have.

Just then he heard a siren noise coming from the object, and a door from the object began to open.

What do you think, the object was? Was it flown here from outer space??

Was Elon Musk inside the object? Or was it an alien from another planet?

Oooo, that was so suspenseful and intriguing. I wonder what it is, where it came from, and who is inside it. Loved your story!
