It’s the only graffiti in the provincial park women’s toilets.

Trans Power.

Sixteen inches above the sliding lock— you have to look up to see it.

Trans Power. All caps, black Sharpie.

She tries to envision the person who brought the pen into the stall. Were they young or old? Angry or proud when they wrote it? Would they'd have liked to use the men’s room, but felt obliged to use the women’s, or vice versa?

The letters are small and cramped, though they’re the only ones in the stall. She could cover them up with one thumb.

Trans Power.

Very thought-provoking. I like the way you left so much unsaid and settled into the neutrality of the issue. A controversial title, but a contemplative read. Very well written. I very much love 100 word stories.
