I suspect that’s the unknown phrase every writer holds deep in their soul.
Only their dreams are experienced with open eyes,
And their hands writing their thoughts,
With some dyeing the pages with black, blue, or even red letters to memorialize what they’ve witnessed
And can be shared with the world.

It's currently the summer of 1955 my name is James Hale, I live in the small town of Willowford. I work at my local diner, taking the same customers every day, receiving the same meals and life is good. It feels like every week repeats but nobody questions it, that's just how life is in Willowford. There’s a comfort to the routine, a rhythm to the days that never changes. People wave the same way, smile the same way, live the same way. Maybe that’s why I’ve never questioned it — Willowford feels safe, even when it feels strange.

The good thing about living in modern times is that LGBTQ representation in media is increasing. Not just in niche and Independant media, either, but also in mainstream media. Books, movies, TV shows, comics... they're finally catching on that LGBTQ+ people form a significant part of their audience, and deserve to see themselves on screen and in fiction, not just as victims in documentaries and true crime shows.
