How to Make 'Fallout 4' a More Deadly and Interesting Experience
Just Another Take on the Commonwealth Wasteland

Fallout 4 came out three years ago and I for one am still playing. I have loved the franchise since I first laid hands on it with Fallout 2 on my old XP office computer back in 2001. The unique world has always been in my top 3 picks of fantasy universes, the mix of wasteland grime and new world technology and the ability to explore it all... An absolute winner. Of course no game can ever be perfect right off the shelf and oh boy does Fallout 4 have its issues, but I felt it was lacking in the several ways. Enter the Nexusmods community. Modding has changed the way I play games and Nexusmods has made it so much easier to completely overhaul the feel and gameplay of most if not all of Bethesda's intellectual properties.
I set out to change Fallout 4 into a wholly new experience. I wanted difficulty that would rival the Dark Souls series, aesthetics that would put the original textures to shame, and most of all tons and tons of new weapons, items, and things to do. I wanted a more full and realistic wasteland. The idea of being terrified to go into each building, slinking around as myself and my trusty 10mm Pistol looted bombed out buildings preying that I find some sort of food or water before night set in; and doing all of this with brand new visuals made by players just like me was absolutely thrilling.
