Dying Light 2

Dying Light 2 is all you could want in a gloriously apocalyptic package, and then some, with its reactive world, branching narrative, fine-tuned combat, and radically enhanced aesthetics.

Horizon Forbidden West

Aloy is back in a sequel to 2017's Horizon Zero Dawn, and this time we'll be visiting the post-apocalyptic city of San Francisco in the United States. Horizon Forbidden West was revealed to be coming to the PS5 in a clip that aired during Sony's Future of Gaming event, and featured magnificent, bright landscapes, new gigantic machine animals, and - most intriguingly - underwater sequences. When Guerrilla Games' unique universe finally releases on the next-gen platform, there will undoubtedly be more riddles to solve.

God of War : Ragnarok

The latest trailer for God of War Ragnarok rocked the internet, showing Kratos and a much larger Atreus dealing with family conflict while fighting Freya, Thor, and the impending Ragnarok. Eric Willaims has taken up directing duties from Cory Barlog, and the plot will follow a father and son as they go to new worlds such as Vanaheim, Svartalfheim, and Asgard, where they will encounter new characters such as Angrboda and Odin. The Norse epic of God of War will come to a close with this installment.

Ghostwire : Tokyo

It's evident that something isn't quite right as people begin to vanish from Toyko's neon-lit streets. Strange shadowy entities, as well as horrifying monsters based on Japanese lore and tales, begin prowling the streets in Ghostwire: Tokyo. It's being produced by the same studio that brought you the survival horror film The Evil Within, which bodes well. Particularly since it appears to be full with paranormal creatures, supernatural events, conspiracies, and the occult.

Slime Rancher 2

Slime Rancher 2 is the sequel to Monomi Park's charming ranching sim Slime Rancher. You'll be returning as Beatrix LeBeau, but she'll be heading to Rainbow Island, a new and strange rainbow-hued island with new slimes to uncover beyond those of the Far Far Range. Cotton slime, angler slime, batty slime, and flutter slime are among the new slimes to be discovered, all of which can be used to fill your new conservatory farm.

ARK 2

The dinosaur-hunting PC smash is back with a bigger, badder sequel starring none other than Vin Diesel in both front and back of the camera. Yes, the Fast & Furious star will not only play a crucial role in the next-gen survival game, but he will also serve as an executive producer for series developer Studio Wildcard, having long been a fan of the original game. Who knows what that signifies for the final product... maybe the dinosaurs were always a member of our family?

Spiderman 2

More Spider-Man goodies is on the way from Insomniac, and this time Peter Parker and Mile Morales will team up to face someone who sounds remarkably like Kraven the Hunter from Spider-Man 2. In the clip, we also saw Venom, who was teased in the previous game, although it's unclear if he'll be a friend or an adversary. The trailer showed off everything we've come to expect from a new Spider-Man game: acrobatic action, webslinging, and spandex outfits, but now it's even better.
