Phyllis calls Daniel a traitor on The Young and the Restless

Will Daniel and Phyllis become estranged again?

When is enough enough? It appears that Daniel Romolatti might be answering this question on Monday on The Young and the Restless. Phylis Summers will turn on her son and call him a traitor which is the pot calling the kettle black.

The redhead has burned bridges and betrayed everyone in her orbit in recent months. She has been drunk with her own power since taking over Newman Enterprises, but expects her son to ignore her devious actions and fall in line.

She is flying around on the Newman jet and is full of herself because she has bested the great Victor Newman. Y&R fans, however, know this will not last. When Victor gets his revenge, it will not be pretty.

Eventually, Phyllis will see her world come crashing down. When she hits the bottom, after Victor and Cane are done with her, there will be no one in her corner because Daniel was the last person making excuses for her.

On Monday, while Daniel is at the Coffee House with Tessa, his mother will show up and attack him. She will say that forgiveness is not an option after what Daniel has done. No matter what she does, Phyllis expects her children to remain loyal, but this time she might have gone too far.

Phyllis has all of Genoa City in turmoil

There is no fury in Genoa City like Phyllis when she is scorned. The Newmans. Abbots, Cane, and everyone else are against her right now. When she is backed into a corner, big trouble always follows She cholorformed Cane to take total control, and everyone in town is shocked that Billy Abbot is working with her.

Victoria is sending her children to boarding school to punish Billy, so even he might turn on Phyllis before all is said and done. Some Y&R viewers thought this latest stunt would bring Summer Newman back to Genoa City, but she is also angry at her mother because Victor is Summer's grandfather and Nick is her dad.

Victor, Niki, Victoria, Nick, and Cane are all plotting the downfall of the redhead. Others in Genoa City are hoping her time at Newman will quickly come to an end.

Can Daniel and Phyllis reconcile

Daniel eventually forgave and supported his mom after she faked her own death. He stood by her through other schemes, but this might be where he draws the line. Tessa is in distress because of her situation with Mariah, so they both need a shoulder to lean on.

Will Daniel and Tessa become closer because they each are dealing with wild and crazy situations? This might be what leads to their becoming a couple. Will Phyllis find herself all alone when her world falls apart?

Will she cut her son off, or will he push her away? They have always reconciled in the past, but this time might be different. What will it take to stop Phyllis, and will her son play a role in her fall from the top? Would Victor try to entice Daniel to turn on his mother?
