Shahmaran Season 2 Review: Not worth watching for me

Only at a few places, I felt that yes, this show is different from its previous part but mostly I got to see the same thing which has already been explored in part 1.

Shahmaran Season 2 Review

So guys, about a year ago there was a Turkish drama about the world of snakes called Shahmaran. I reviewed its first season on my website, which used to have over a million visitors, but that site is no longer active.

The concept of the world of this series had hit me and I had looked at both its positive and negative aspects in that review.

On the note on which season 1 ended, I somehow had a hope that even more terrible things would be seen in its world in Season 2.

So finally Shahmaran Season 2 is here and I am done watching it for a long time.

This ride is going to have six episodes but keep in mind that you must watch season 1 if you have not seen it.

This series is also available in Hindi language and the most important thing to note is that do not watch this series with your family because it presents nudity or many bold adult scenes.

Shahmaran Season 2 Story

Now, let's talk about Season 2—what exactly it’s like, and whether you should watch it if you've seen Season 1. To put it simply, Season 1 wasn’t a masterpiece; it was more of an average show that likely piqued your interest to some extent.

Especially if you are a fantasy lover then you will think that you should watch season 2 once.

According to the ending of season 1, you will want to watch its next season.

All I can say is that in case you liked season 1 a little, then watching season 2 means a little improvement for you. Otherwise, season 2 also falls in the average category.

As much as I was thinking that this time the show would show me a lot of terrible things, it was not able to present anything.

Instead, a simple story is being seen. I mean, the story has been picked up from where season 1 ended and this time a girl named Lilith has come into the life of Şahsu and Maran, who is Shahmaran's sister.

The one who is Shahmaran has become alive to some extent inside Şahsu, that is, she has awakened but not completely and after waking up completely, she has to stop Lilith, otherwise the one who is Lilith will destroy the entire humanity.

So by watching season 2, you have to find out how the Shahmaran that is inside Shahsu will fully awaken. What will he have to do to awaken it and also will he be able to stop Lilith or not? To know you will have to watch this show.

Shahmaran Season 2 Review

To be honest, the Presentation is not out of the box, the way the buildup is done in episode 1, with all these things you will get the hope that yes Lilith has come, which also looks quite powerful and you go with an expectation that yes, you will get to see a very strong battle between Lilith and Shahmaran in the climax at least in the last episode, but unfortunately, it does not happen at all, the climax was completely disappointing and even a little confusing.

Maybe you will get to see its next season also because the ending is not proper.

This time also there is no trace of action in this new season, the same slow-pacing drama and buildup will be seen.

Yes, you will get to see some unexpected killing scenes etc. which will give you a decent amount of enjoyment otherwise I did not like Season 2 very much, yes it is a little better than Season One but not that much better due to which I at least recommend you to watch this web series, even if you enjoy fantasy series.

Conclusion

I will only tell you that if you enjoyed season 1 and you want to know what will happen in the life of Maran or Şahsu, then you can give this show a try not with too many expectations but with fewer expectations. Otherwise, in my view, you should just skip this series, it is not worth watching.

For those who are a new audience, I would not recommend that you waste your time on this series.

Only at a few places, I felt that yes, this show is different from its previous part but mostly I got to see the same thing which has already been explored in part 1.
