SpyHards Podcast:
Cloak & Dagger in the Movies
In acting, there’s such a thing as totally immersing yourself in the role. In SpyHards, a weekly film podcast decoding classic spy cinema, Hosts Scott Hardy and Cam Smith assume the roles of Agent Scott & Cam the Provocateur.
These agents (Hosts) regularly tackle iconic espionage titles, unearthing the hidden gems, forgotten flops, and secret connections between the biggest names in spy cinema. High-profile episodes include Denise Richards, Shane Black, Jacqueline Bisset, Phil Alden Robinson, and Julian Glover.
The hosts decode the best and worst of cloak-and-dagger cinema on their quest to find the best spy movies of all time. I’m happy to say that Agent Scott & Cam the Provocateur do a superb job hosting the show and submerging listeners in the lore and mythology of spy movies.
I love the Bondlike music to start the show. It makes me feel that exhilaration at the beginning of Bond movies, where 007 would do some incredible stunt when foiling the bad guys. Agent Scott & Cam the Provocateur work well as co-hosts with a fun banter, easy connection, and an intuitive sense of listener interests. They’ve had a lot of practice since they have produced and released over 400 episodes.
Each episode is in-depth, with shows running as long as two hours or more. With such an extensive library of shows, I have a lot of favorite episodes.
On the November 27th 2025 episode Agents Scott and Cam welcome director Andrew Fleming to the show to reveal top secret intel about the making of the 2003 buddy spy comedy The In-Laws. In the episode, director Fleming recounts a fascinating story about he procured the rights to play Paul McCartney and Wings’ Live And Let Die song for the film.
On the December 11, 2025, episode, actress and musician Irka Bochenko revealed top secret intel about playing Drax’s Blonde Beauty in Moonraker. She also shares stories about collaborating with Roger Moore on a Bond tribute song and more.

You can watch Irka’s 007 tribute music videos, Love You Forever Mr. Bond and Happy Birthday, Mr. Bond, on her YouTube channel.
In April 2025, Agents Scott and Cam show their versatility by taking on the 1948 Red Skelton Civil War spy comedy A Southern Yankee.
In January 2025, Kacey Rohl and Humberly González joined the show to discuss their sci-fi secret agent roles in Star Trek: Section 31. Plus, Agent Scott shared exclusive intel from the film’s London premiere event featuring Michelle Yeoh.
In August 2024, Agent Scott welcomed bestselling author and filmmaker Damien Lewis to the show to talk about writing his 2014 book The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. He also shares top secret intel on the development of Guy Ritchie’s 2024 film adaptation, notable changes and more.

SpyHards joined The Podomedy Comedy Network in August 2025. Podomedy is the UK’s fastest-growing independent podcast comedy network, home to more than a dozen diverse comedy podcasts spanning stand-up, fiction, lifestyle, gaming, true crime, men’s health, period drama reviews, and more. Together, these shows have produced over 250,000 hours of original comedy programming, making Podomedy a vibrant hub for funny, indie audio creators. The network is award-nominated (including multiple spots at the Independent Podcast Awards) and supports its shows with mentoring, editing tools, distribution help, and a keen eye for unique comedic voices.
“We’re soaring higher than Condorman with excitement to be working with the great folks at Podomedy,” said Scott Hardy. “If we were ever going to come out of the cold, this feels like the right time and the right place, amongst so many talented and creative podcast creators. So let’s raise a vodka martini to SpyHards 2.0, our first-rate new HQ, and all the memorable missions to come!”
The co-hosts leave no spy franchise unturned, featuring the likes of James Bond, Jason Bourne, Derek Flint, Austin Powers, Johnny English, George Smiley and Harry Palmer, plus all your favorite secret agent franchises including Mission: Impossible, The Man From U.N.C.L.E., Kingsman, Spy Kids and many more…
If you love spy movies, this show is for you. Agent Scott & Cam the Provocateur make it fun and informative as they decode the best and worst of cloak-and-dagger cinema on their quest to find the best spy movies of all time.
As Agent Scott & Cam the Provocateur would say, “Slip on your tuxedo, grab your martini, and listen to SpyHards.”
