Ring… ring… ring…

It's a Friday night and spending the night exploring an abandoned building. Tonight is Halloween and there's a full moon to tie the night together. Which makes this to be one of the most spooky nights. The night when all the spirits on the other side can walk side-by-side with the living.

By adding a full moon it's just asking for something to happen. A full moon is the final ingredient to Halloween.

Amber parks the car so the headlights are shining on the only entrance into the abandoned hospital. Sarah leans forward to look out the windshield better and get a good view of the top of the building.

The building is an abandoned Mental Institution built in the year 1880. It closed down in 2014- only closed for about 10 years.

"You sure we can be here?"

"Nope. We are technically trespassing. Hence why we are here at night," Amber replies in a bratty tone.

"I thought it was just because it's more spooky at night?" Sarah asks nervously.

"Well, yeah. All of the spooky stuff happens at night, obviously. I thought you knew that?" Amber rolls her eyes. "If you're too scared you can always just stay in the car."

Amber gets out of the car and starts to walk towards the entrance of the abandoned hospital when Sarah looks around again and gets scared.

"Wait! Don't leave me here by myself," Sarah didn't even wait to open the car door all the way before running out to catch up with Amber.

Amber chuckles to herself.

The abandoned hospital's doors and windows are boarded up for the most part. The entrance has boards over the door but it's clear that other people have broken into the building before. Amber and Sarah climbed through the boarded-up door.

Once they climbed in they looked around the room. Sarah asks; "Should we turn our cameras on?"

"That actually would be a good idea."

The girls turn their cameras on. When Sarah turned hers on and looked in the viewfinder to be able to see what the camera was seeing, it started to get staticky, grey noise. Like the snowy picture.

Sarah nervously looks threw the eye hole of the camera- Amber is standing on the other side of the room with her back towards Sarah trying to figure out her own camera.- As Sarah puts the camera up to her eye, she screams and immediately pulls away from the camera and looks where the camera's lens is pointing but nothing is there.

Amber jumps from Sarah screaming, frantically turning around practically running across the room to where Sarah is; "Are you okay! What the fuck is happening."

It took Sarah a moment to even process, let alone answer. Sarah explained what she saw and what happened to her camera.

Amber can't process what is happening; "What the fuck. I thought it was just a glitch."

"What do you mean a glitch?"

Before Amber could answer a phone started ringing from further in the hospital. Amber and Sarah looked at each other. They didn't say anything to each other before they both walked towards the ringing phone.

If anyone has seen any horror or thriller movie, even mystery, you should know not to follow the sound of a ringing telephone. Especially in an abandoned hospital.

~

Took them about 20 minutes to find the phone. The other side of the hospital and on the 7th floor. How they have heard this phone ring doesn't sound a good thing at all. The hospital isn't very small either. It's 10 stories- Basically, has 1100 beds. It's not a small hospital.

Standing at the nurse's station with the phone that doesn't stop ringing. The two had been standing there watching it ring for a few minutes before one of them said something.

"How- who- what the fuck-" Sarah can't even form a sentence. "How is this getting phone calls? This is obviously a prank- you need to stop this!"

"I'm-I'm- I not doing anything."

"Amber, what is the real reason we are here tonight? What are you not telling me?"

Before Amber could answer, the phone stopped ringing.
