GLOBAL — International leadership organizations continue expanding programs that equip women and girls with the skills, resources, and confidence needed to lead in civic, professional, and community spaces. Across sectors, mentorship and education driven models are shaping how young women engage with leadership and long term development.

Among those contributing to this movement is Dr. Anana Phifer Derilhomme, a global educator, advocate, and organizational leader whose work focuses on empowering women and girls through mentorship, civic engagement, and economic education.

Dr. Anana Phifer Derilhomme will be honored on March 7, 2026 at the Women’s Empowerment and Awards Brunch Gala in Philadelphia. The event recognizes leaders across education, advocacy, wellness, and entrepreneurship whose work strengthens families and communities while supporting youth leadership and emotional wellness initiatives.

She is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of BlessedGirl Global, an international mentoring and leadership organization committed to developing confident, civically engaged, and purpose driven young women. Through education, mentorship, and leadership training, the organization supports girls as they transition into adulthood and leadership roles.

BlessedGirl Global operates multiple initiatives designed to address the full spectrum of needs impacting women and girls. These programs include the 4C Youth Civility Movement, which focuses on character development and civic responsibility; the Pads and Panties Project, supporting menstrual health access; BG Birthing Teen Pregnancy and Parenting Support Services; and BG Life, which provides life insurance brokerage and financial protection education for families.

Leadership organizations increasingly emphasize holistic models that integrate health, education, financial literacy, and mentorship. Programs addressing these areas together often produce stronger long term outcomes for youth and families.
