Erica Lindsey Recognized for Advancing Women’s Wellness and Confidence Through Community Driven Transformation
Highlywaisted founder and empowerment advocate honored for building spaces that support mental, physical, and spiritual growth

NEW JERSEY — Wellness entrepreneurship continues evolving as more leaders connect physical health goals with mindset development, confidence building, and community accountability. Across New Jersey, women are seeking practical support that helps them sustain healthy routines while rebuilding self trust and personal clarity.
A key contributor to this movement is Erica Lindsey, a wellness advocate, women’s empowerment motivator, and Chief Executive Officer of Highlywaisted, a shapewear and detox company rooted in transformation and self belief.
Lindsey will be honored on March 7, 2026 at the Women’s Empowerment and Awards Brunch Gala in Philadelphia. The event recognizes leaders across wellness, entrepreneurship, mentorship, and community advocacy whose work reflects sustained impact and commitment to uplifting others.
Lindsey’s wellness journey began in 2020 with a personal decision to change her health and lifestyle. Within three months, she lost more than 65 pounds through consistency and self discipline. She describes the experience as a turning point that strengthened her confidence and reshaped how she viewed her ability to follow through on long term goals.
Her transformation drew attention from friends, peers, and women in her extended community who wanted to understand how she achieved her results and how they could begin their own journeys. As questions and requests for guidance increased, Lindsey recognized that her experience carried purpose beyond personal success.
She began supporting others through encouragement, accountability, and practical wellness habits aimed at building self awareness and confidence. Her approach emphasizes that sustainable change happens through small decisions repeated consistently, supported by mindset shifts that strengthen discipline.
This work led Lindsey to found Highlywaisted, a brand designed to help individuals feel mentally, physically, and spiritually empowered regardless of where they are starting. The company offers shapewear and detox products while reinforcing a broader message centered on self belief, personal ownership, and confidence restoration.
Wellness entrepreneurs often note that products alone do not create lasting change. Consistent support, encouragement, and a sense of belonging often determine whether someone stays committed to a wellness journey. Lindsey’s brand messaging reflects that understanding by focusing on motivation and identity alongside physical goals.
In addition to business leadership, Lindsey serves with the nonprofit Uplifther81, an organization that supports women in learning how to soar, build, and connect. Through this work, she contributes to spaces where women can speak openly about growth, transition, confidence, and identity while receiving peer support and encouragement.
Community leaders continue emphasizing that women centered networks strengthen long term outcomes. When women build in community, they gain access to accountability, mentorship, shared resources, and emotional reinforcement that supports personal and professional advancement.
Lindsey’s work also includes experience as a Creative Director for Girls Night Out under Scandalous Entertainment, where she supported women in strengthening modeling skills, confidence, and professional networks. This role expanded her focus on visibility and self presentation, reinforcing how confidence impacts how women show up in professional and social spaces.
Across each lane of her work, Lindsey centers a consistent belief: transformation is possible when individuals commit to self belief and surround themselves with support. Her long term vision is to build a thriving community under Highlywaisted, creating a single platform where individuals can explore wellness, build routines, and define growth on their own terms.
She continues developing this vision as a broader community ecosystem, with space for encouragement, shared learning, and practical tools that support sustainable wellness habits.
The Women’s Empowerment and Awards Brunch Gala will convene leaders across industries while supporting youth leadership and emotional wellness initiatives through Jewelz Foundation Incorporated. Lindsey’s recognition reflects the growing role wellness entrepreneurs play in shaping confidence centered communities and support systems.
Through Highlywaisted, nonprofit service, and creative leadership work, Erica Lindsey continues building an empowerment model grounded in discipline, confidence, and community connection. Her journey demonstrates how personal transformation can grow into purpose driven leadership that helps others reclaim their health, their mindset, and their belief in what is possible.
