SHEESH Going Off: 2 vs. 1 Goes Down On 6th Street In Austin, Texas!

It seems to be 2 on 1 but who's counting?!

What can be said about these fights in these streets? Especially, when there are more than one battler involved, there begs a question as to the levels of force exhibited by those who wish to engage in such behavior. In this particular spat, it appears as if a few Hispanics in Texas throw down because of what is unclear.

The certainty lies in the passion and fury shown by the people fighting in this video. There seems to be a disconnect in the way the parties all approached this situation. They looked at their adversaries as completely subhuman.

In one instance, one of the fighters even loses his shirt and trousers. The very nature of these scenes is just a reminder that this is the United States of America which leans towards division.

It doesn’t matter how many times we say Kumbya and hold hands and sing songs of peace, the people want blood. They wish to see these raucous examples of malice and menace. The malignant ideal that continues to run through the culture like a cracked spine is that we want peace but want to be about that action more.

The young man who fought at least one other person continued to show his strength in the fight despite losing most of his clothing. And by the end of the video, what was a sizable group of fighters and onlookers alike, mostly everyone had dispersed when the red and blue lights descended upon the area.

What this says about the reality of the current age is that the craving for force and violence is still at all-time highs. It seems as if the truth is there is an insatiable thirst for fisticuffs and unrest. While the politicians mouth hollow bromides and dry platitudes, the reality is that they wish to see the same amount of tumult as anyone on the Internet.

If there had been a way for the fight to continue, someone might have been seriously hurt. But this was just a minor scrap. If the fighters had been engaged in this mini melee in the ring, it would not have the same bite. Sadly, people want raw street footage that invigorates the part of the brain that yearns to view such events live or on footage. The dopamine and serotonin that surges through the brain is what makes it so enticing to see these usually youths get busy on the streets.

This is the reason why there is such a desire to see how the minds behind the Internet know they can make advertising dollars based on such videos. The way that people encourage others with the chant “WorldStar!” to keep the anticipation of the crowd to high levels, it only makes it rougher. Though this particular video doesn’t include such a chant, the “Oh’s!” and “Ooh’s!” still hype up the set nevertheless.

The most jarring point is when the police actually arrive. They rove through the vehicles, not finding a single person to interview or to apprehend.

With the amount of people used to these kinds of brawls on the Internet, it is important to remember that these street warriors probably dap each other up and reconcile after the fight is over, anyway. Disconnect always engenders some modicum of respect among disparate figures. On one hand, there is usually an appreciation for the other side and often show their own self-regard. Even still, though this video doesn’t show it, they probably agreed to open up a food truck in the next few months.

It’s so crucial to see the positive out of all this negativity.
