Call Me "Spongebob"

The Year is 2017, & I had just recently bought my very own first car! *announcer voice* The never ending obstacles that I had to face to get on the road (legally lol) are completely unbelievable!!!

But, they happened. All of them.

Let's get started with Day 1: I get up really early, because I'm excited! Lol duh! I have my whole day planned out. So I get to the DMV, & I take the written part of the test, & guess what?! I FAILED! So, they tell me I have to wait until tomorrow to retake the test. No problemo!

Day 2: Now, I'm hyped because I love a good challenge! (I'm a Leo) I get even cuter this day because now I KNOW I'm getting my L's today! Right?! WRONG! Lol. I passed the written portion this time.(Yay!) So, I get ready to go and take the driving part. I get the list of requirements, and my car has everything but a HORN!!! (WTF?!) So, I have to go to the dealership and get that fixed. Of course, that's the next step that I took towards my never ending quest!

Day 3: ALRIGHT! I've got my horn, I'm not as cute as I was before for my picture, because I'm a little fed up at this point, honestly. I'm no quitter though! So, this big scary looking lady is my observer, and not gonna lie, she intimidated tf outta me! Me being so nervous caused me to run over a curb (lma0! It's funnier now than it was when it was happening) I feel like you guys know what I'm about to say next.. If your lucky guess was incorrect, then I'll just tell you.. I failed, again. & now I have to come back the next day. This is definitely a "and the next day, and the next day, and the next day" ordeal. (If you watch spongebob, you'll get that reference)

Day 4; Shall we? This day, I'm holding on by an emotional thread. I really can't understand why it's so hard! This day is my mom's birthday. I'm sooo ready to get this over with!!! I get this boost of enthusiasm out of nowhere, and it hurts me more than it helps me! I lock my freaking keys in my car!!! My mom has to come to the DMV so I can wait on the insurance company to get there! It was nice out at first, then it started, raining & snowing! (It's March 1st) The whole process takes almost 6 hours! (She wasn't very happy) By the time I got my keys back, yeah... The DMV is surely closed!

Final Day, 5: At this point, I'm OVER IT! I roll out of bed, I don't even get cute, at all. I literally didn't care anymore. I was really not even expecting to get anything at this point. So, I'm there, unenthused. Exhausted. Just waiting my turn. To my surprise, the love of my WHOLE ENTIRE life walks in. I'd loved this man every since 3rd grade! We grew up together. I'm his sister's bestfriend & he's my brothers' bestie. (I'm 20 at this time) Could I have picked a better day to be popped?! (Apparently not) To make it even worse, this man comes and sits next to me!!! (He's so FINE) In my mind I'm Like, what are you even doing here?! He's there for a passport. So, as he gets called to take his picture, he tells me to hold all his papers for him. (He loves me back) He comes back, & I tell him about my crazy week! He gives me a little pep talk, then I get called for my turn.. & I FINALLY PASS!!! I think it's because of him! He was my goodluck charm! (Thanks Bae, Ily!) Even though my picture was ugly and I almost lost every marble that I had left because of this experience, I'm so glad I stuck it out! I guess God sent him as motivation. It worked! Lol. Thanks God, Ily! Now, get this, Spongebob is my favorite show ever! & for me to have just as much trouble getting my license as him is completely uncanny and honestly hilarious! It's okay if you laugh, lmao. I'm over it now! I've been on the road every since! Only to crash my car 10 days later, but, that's a whole 'nother story!!!
