A Happy Summer

Summertime

By John M Edwards JrPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

On this warm merry day my siblings and I under the clear blue sky pick berries from vines to make blackberry wine and enjoy during the summer nights as we dine.

Oh the fruits that the summer produce that we use to make juice, the persimmon, the walnut, the peach, the apricot, the plums, the prunes, the grapes, even apples from the crab apple tree.

During the spring we plant, during the summer we harvest, during the winter we feast as we eat the beasts.

As the year comes to an end we prepare to begin it all again

The planting, the watering, animals and all, the harvesting, the canning which helps to enjoy all when you come to visit next fall.

Have a happy summer you all.
