Budding youth are more than > distracted,
they are immersed,
coerced by the media and the looming idols that are affixed in pop culture.
The world looks at them as if it is a greedy vulture,
ready to swoop down for the attack of what's nearly dead already.
Addicted to the noise of reckless poise,
minds are bleeding,
at one another's demise, isolation is feeding.
It's sad, but true.
Subconsciously, they reach for deeper meaning.
Will someone, please, lead them through a blessed gate, I wonder,
so through life, they would not blunder?

Really inpressive
Even before Covid, the youth were becoming more isolated and antisocial and parents are so distracted by their lives that they just want to keep the kids occupied somehow...I've seen toddlers with a phone or tablet stuck in their face so that they don't bother their mother while she's occupied. It's a real thing and electronics are replacing parenting. 😵💫
couldn't agree more with you!
Social media is a bane, sadly. Even for adults. They need time outside playing. Nice work!
It really is scary.
