Asphyxiation
An acrostic poem
By Laura PruettPublished 2 years ago • Updated about a year ago • 1 min read

Ever since the day I saw you
Come around the corner in the store
Like a sudden breeze, like the part of me
I never knew I had; even as our eyes met that fateful day,
Penetrating the depths of our souls in
Surprised wonder, I’ve been holding my breath, awaiting this endless
Eclipse
