Beams of Sunlight

A poem about first light

By Adam KolozettiPublished a day ago 1 min read

Tongues of mist paint the green valley grey, while

Dew sparkles on the antlers

Of a lone stag, standing watch.

The bullet enters behind the shoulder.

A chorus of birdsong rides

Beams of sunlight.
