Blood In The Water
First Place Is Unique

I sleep well after winning but I’m restless when I lose
Which means I’ve had some sleepless nights, which means I’ve paid my dues
Like Kobe I am driven by two forces deep within
The first, my hate of losing, while the second is a win
Your errors are to bleeding, what a glutton is to stew
And I’m the shark that’s circling since I love eating too
“Second’s” not a champion and never is my goal
So later I will buy your drink, to soothe your broken soul
Now all these things are metaphors for just how how much I care
“First,” is for the greedy and was never meant to share
The sky can’t be the limit since there’s footprints on the moon
I was winning in my fifties, it’s been said I quit too soon
