In a world that's divided by wealth,

Where some are rich and others in stealth,

There's a gap that seems too wide to breach,

A chasm that's beyond anyone's reach.

The poor struggle day and night,

To make ends meet and keep in sight,

Their hopes and dreams of a better life,

Free from poverty and endless strife.

The rich, on the other hand, seem to have it all,

Money, power, fame, and a life that's tall,

They live in mansions, drive fancy cars,

And dine in restaurants that are beyond bars.

But is wealth all that there is to life?

Or is there something else that cuts like a knife,

The poor may lack money, but they have pride,

And dignity that cannot be denied.

The rich may have everything that money can buy,

But they lack the warmth of a heart that's not shy,

To share and care and be there for those,

Who are struggling and living life on toes.

So let's bridge the gap between the poor and the rich,

And make this world a place that's not a ditch,

Where everyone has a chance to succeed,

And fulfill their dreams, regardless of creed.
