Buried Treasure

Undercurrent

By Kelli Sheckler-AmsdenPublished about a year ago Updated 12 months ago 1 min read

You’re planted under my skin

Like the veins of a flower

Where I end, you begin

Fully rooted in power

Pure poetry, set in motion

A functional, isometry

Individualized potion

Worshiped religiosity

A baptized devotion

Resurrected in beauty

Walking upon the ocean

My skin, exposed, salty

In perfectly sized portions

Wow, just wow. To me kind of indescrible.

  • Whoaaaa, this was magnificent! I read it 3 times to take it all in!

  • An isometry, simply transposed from one part of your being to another, without growth or intensity? Or is it growth through multiplicity? Those are the only questions I have for this stunningly artful poem.
