No one really seems to value love as much in these current years;

whereas if found the one,

I’d hold onto that him dearly,

but it seems like no one else feels the same nowadays.

Many may be interested in me,

but it feels like chasing the sun as it sets;

it’s pointless,

with their light temporarily hitting me,

not truly settling on me,

as they keep setting into the void.

I want a guy where he feels like the sun and I’m the moon,

where he shines his light on me without straying,

us complimenting each other so sweetly,

the love not fading.

    Sounds like a beautiful true love you want. Yes it does seems like people not loving like that anymore, but their is a few people who do, just have to find them, or they will find you. Excellent poem.
