Conservative or liberal
I thought we weren't supposed to talk about religion or politics?
Politics, religion, money. All very sensitive topics that, from a young age told not to bring up.
These three topics, without fail, always turn into a heated argument.
These arguments are, for the most part, good reasons.
BUUUUUT
These three topics are supposed to, keyword supposed, stay out of healthcare and basic human rights and needs.
Unfortunately, for a vast majority of the population, that isn't the case.
In many cases, these three subjects play a lot hand in hand with each other.
Health care is a basic human right, but it's not always free; more often than not, there is a waitlist for simple things like life-changing surgeries.
Medication? Unless you have good insurance and benefits, expect to pay.
In need of an abortion, any reason is a good reason, suddenly God is brought up in the topic.
The Government sends out regulations and laws to each State, and the Politics of those areas take them and, with the outline of Politics above, dictate how the system will play out.
With the amount of taxes we pay and the amount of money the Government makes, why are people having to pay for basic health care?
Why are politics and religion regulating people's bodies?
Control. It's all about control.

Feelings Never Die
It is Valentine's Day again, and it bought back memories that were over fifty years old. It bought me back to 1971, and I woke up and I knew my baby was due today. I was big and pregnant, and I felt like I was about to burst wide open. Imagine my surprise when the doctor told my I had a due date of February 14. I couldn't believe it, and since my baby was due today, I felt I could indulge myself a bit. I had gained a lot of weight, and chocolate was on the no-no list, but I had came to the end of this pregnancy, and I hoped it would be okay, after all I would deliver this baby today. So I walked across the street to the grocery story, and bought myself, a peppermint patty, covered in chocolate, my favorite. Me and my Valentine's baby would enjoy it together.

With the amount of taxes we pay and the amount of money the Government makes, why are people having to pay for basic health care? AMEN. My hospital bills were over $4,000,000.00. I had to file bankruptcy. I have decided to move to Mexico. I speak Spanish. Thank you
