Mental health is one of the most important aspects of living a healthy and happy life. Although being one of the most important aspects of life, it is connected with several stigmas. But what actually is mental health? Mental health is the physical, mental and social well- being of an individual. It might not seem obvious, but mental health affects the way we think, feel, and act. The way I see mental health is very similar to the idea of “Auto-immune diseases.” In auto- immune diseases, our own immune system mistakenly fights against our own body. In the similar way, with mental health problems, our brain is constantly fighting against our own thoughts.
