Filtered light through trees runs so deep

Cygnets follow their Mama—peep peep peep

Atop the the lake, they go to eat their next meal

Not a thing disturbs them in a scene so surreal.

Caresses of the breeze enter the scene

Grass blades respond in swishes quite serene

Mountains watch from afar—their jagged peaks crack the sky

Into a cloudless expanse, an inverted ocean so high.

A perfect vision for those lost in their woods

For at the end, nature paints all that is good.

Even the cygnets disappear into this bliss with their mom

Apocalypse swells within a weeping willow's womb

Filtered light through trees

Runs

So deep cygnets follow their Mama.

Peep, Peep, Peep.

Atop the lake they go to

Hunt

Their next meal and not a thing disturbs them.

In a scene so surreal

Caresses of the breeze enter the grass.

Blades

Respond in swishes so austere

Mountains watch

From afar, their jagged

Peaks crack the sky

Into a cloudless expanse

Perfect vision

For those lost in their woods

Nature paints a scene in our mind, so far

And even the cygnets disappear with Ma Ma.
