Dear Chaos,
You visit us with the most gifts
Removing the masks often worn
Causing tiffs and rifts
Between friends once sworn
You cause mayhem and confusion
And can also bring about diffusion
Of ideals once held by the masses
Ideals nature refuses
-
Morals thrown become useless
When you appear
You change all that is known
Allowing a new age to throne
Ideals born to you now rule
Amongst those left, they drone

Ideals of yesteryear still slither in and survive
Might become victorious and shed a light
Of morality and integrity. Alive
Humans persevering to maintain
What was theirs before you came
Of decency and togetherness
Now go back to whence you came
Yours sincerely,
