Denial
Let me hide away from life
Let me fly away this night
Follow the airstreams
Let them be my guide
Let me bury my head in denial
May this life I fell into
Be one of grandeur and shine
Let this be the one that helps me unwind
Yet here I am responsible to the core
Here I am not feeling at all
Not being able to let life in
When other’s lives overtake mine
Time to fly free
Time to unwind
Time to let the airstreams take me back to the wild
No longer caged
But flying free
Letting others know this is me.

When others take over, you need a rest to rewind. Nice poem about that, loved it!
