No one walks into a marriage
wanting it to end,
No one sees the sky and
wishes it would fall on them.
Our love has dissolved into the rivers
taken there by my tears
as I drive around Somerset
to be shared with the world by the rain.

This poem was so lovely, but it also gave me a sad feeling at the same time. Thanks for sharing.
This was sad and beautiful all at the same time. Nicely Done!!
You were always better at beautiful words than me.
This was so poignantly beautiful. Loved your poem!
And Charlie Brown remains there standing upon the pitcher's mound as the sky tumbles down upon him.
Sadly beautiful
