Don't Mess With My Glow
I've got a good thing going.

neon kiss, rainbow tattoo—
all the things to ravish you
heart's blood, fine liquor—
give this man a sticker
fragrant lies, words a-twist—
music falling like a mist
bodies sway, moments dance—
can't ever miss this chance
champagne bubbles, crystal fair—
hold your breath for a time so rare
ceiling high, starburst eyes—
my, you feel like such a prize
fading light, midnight fine—
everything feels like a sign
parted ways, no number—
just like that, we've gone to slumber
steps away, lonesome home—
there'll be more places to roam
but you, gone away—
love has gone astray
seconds fled, timely ghosts—
no more need for happy toasts
neon kiss, rainbow tattoo—
ours is no longer a story of two
