Dreamland
Astral drifting
You on my mind
Neptune is retro
Pressing rewind
Stopping and starting
Thoughts on repeat
Am I in your thoughts?
Are you thinking of me?
Lost in a dream
You’re all alone
I needed to find you
Point you to home
Destined to meet
You knew it too
That’s why all,
of the chaos ensued
Blinded by lights
Betrayals and lust
Not even knowing
Who you could trust
You looked in my eyes
Saw that I’m real
Went back on your word
And broke the deal
Replayed every moment
One at at time
Then I erased them
Is that a crime?
Mirror reflection
What I needed to see
Your tattooed scars
Were just like me
That’s when I saw it
And I understood
Broken and shattered
Hiding the ‘good’
Catalyst of change
Tornado chasing
A perfect Storm
My poem your gracing
Like raindrops on petals
Melodic tune
Speaking these words
Here, under the moon
Sweet perfumed flowers
Poetic letter
Vibing at midnight
That’s even better
Under the moonlight
Taking a walk
You watching me
Watching the clock
Minutes to midnight
Do I press send?
The coin says yes
How will this end?
To be continued
Story unfolding
Piece of your heart
Still is worth holding
Reading my words
Writing your thoughts
Missing our chats
Missing them lots
Moment of truth
Dimming the lights
